It has been ascertained that Beveral other persons were drowned by the yaoht acoident y«sterday. The following are the names of those who lost their lives : — Horace Kippax, Kate and Willie Thompson, Ada Gilberd, Polly Stewart and Mary Fahey. A systematic) sohome of baby-farming waa nnearthed at \f ayerloy, a suburb of Sydney. Two infants were found lying dead on the premises, apparently starved, and another in a dying condition. Besides those, it is reported that six other children have died during the last few months. Sir Henry Parkes, the Premier, considers that before the conference of the Australasian colonies is held on military matters an agreement should be oomo to betweon the various colonies as to the manner in which machinery is to be provided to bring the whole of the colonial forces under one administrative control in the event of an omergoncy arising. He suggests tho awaiting of Major-General Edwards' report before anything is done.
