Snakes in New Zealand.
♦ [Bt Telegraph.] | united press association.] Gisborne, Bth April. Last week Sir Geor/jo Whitmore captured, on his run, an ugly snako, 2ft Gin long. It was marked yellow and black. Auckland, Bth April. A salt water snake, of abont 4ft in length, has been caught on the East Coast by the natives, and is supposed to have drifted from tropical latitudes.
