London, 30th November. The plaintiff in the breach of promise case against Walpole refused to answer questions relating to the birth of the child, and created a scene in oourt. The Judge direoted a vor> diet to be found for the defendant, notwithstanding which the jury returned one in favour of the plaintiff. A new trial will bo applied for.
