Situation: Mangatainoka Bridge, near main road, 7 miles south of Woodvillo. IT is hereby notified that the Pahiatua Village Special Settlement Sections will be open for selection at this office on and after Friday, 18th Juno, 1836. Applications can also be lodged with tho Ranger, as Steward of the Village Settlement, at Pahiatua up to 10th June. Thero are 58 sections, ranging in area from 4to 20 acres each ; leases at rentals from about 2s 9d to 5s au acre will be granted for 30 yews, renewable for further periods of 21 yeai\«, but without right of purchase. Advances on certain conditions may bo obtained from the Government to onablo selectors to build houses and improve their holdings; 5 per cent, will be charged on the amounts advanced. Residence and certain improvements, are compulsory. Plans, conditions, and regulations maybe seen and obtained at Railway Stations and Post Offices in Wellington district. Any farther' information that may be required can bo obtained from the Steward of the Village Settlement, Mr. Mackay, who will be at Pahiatua from 9th to 16th June, or from this office and other Land Offices in tho Colony.
