A ROYAL SUICIDE.
[BY EIECTBIO TEIEOBAPH— OOPYBIQHT.] THE EX-KING OF BAVARIA DROWNS HIMSELF. ANOTHER LIFE LOST. HIS SUCCESSOR ALSO MAD. [msuteb'b teleoiums.] (Received Jnne 15, 11 a.m.) Munich, 14th June. Ex-Kiug Louis of Bavaria, who recently became insane and was deposed, committed suicide to-day by throwing himself into the lake at Stamberg, a suburb of this city, where he has been under restraint. One of the Court physicians, who was in attendance ou the ex-King, in attempting- to rescue him was also drowned. (Received June 15, 12.50 p.m.) Munich, 14th Juno. Further details regarding the suicide of King Louis show that a violent struggle took place between His Majesty and the doctor before the King succecded'in drowning himself. Prince Otto, brother to tho late Louis 11., has-been proclaimed King, but as His Majesty's mind is also deranged Prince Luitpold, uncle t» King Otto, lias been appointed Regent.
