GENTLEMEN.-I havo dealt in patent medicine of all descriptions for over 20 years, and am proprietor of Williamson'* Miraculous Ointment, and havo heard from my customers from time to time of cures effected by different remedies; but the cure I am about to relate, effected by St. Jacob's Oil, eclipses all others. On the evening of the first day the man in charge after fecdinif turned the horses into an adjoining paddock apparently quito sound; but when Tie went to fetch them tho next morninp, found ono so lame that it limped on thrcek'gs, and was unable to put the other —a hind leg—to the ground. On examining ho found it vory much swollen from tho fetlock to tho hock. And, of courso, ho thought about returning-, when it suddenly occurred to him that St. Jacob's Oil, of which ho carried a stock for Bale, might help him in the omergency. lie at onco opened a bottle, and proceeded tomb into the Hwollcn parts for abont2o minuter ; and, an hour afterwards, much to his surprise, the swelling and lamcn&w bad disappeared altogether, and lie was able to con tin no his jouruoy.
