A match will be played at Nowtown on Monday between the Bank of New Zealand, i Colonial Bank, and Bank of New Southjj Wales, against National Bank, Union Bank' and Bank of Australasia. The first-named play in blue or black, and the others in colours. The following ore the names of the teams :—Blue or Blaok —C. Smith, M'Cansland, Wales, L. Smith, Campbell, Porter (2), Young, Mentiplay, Wright, Tripe, Grnbb, Kennedy, Harper, and Graham. Colours — Hirschberg, Pearce,' M'Lean, Bucholtz, Morrah, Mitchell, Nixon, Hutchinson,, Pyke, Boddington, Hodgson, Duncan, Callis, Dyer, Graham; emergoncy, Wastney. Play to commence at 2.30 sharp. "
We regret to loara that a private telegram has been received in town announcing the death of the well-known theatrical manager, Mr. A. T. Dunning. Mr. Dunning was for many years an esteemed resident in Dunedin, where ho realised a fortune, which we fear he must havo impaired greatly by his subsequent theatrical speculations.
