New Zealand wheat remains at 2s 9d per bushel ; New Zealand oats are 2s 5d per bnehel, being an advanoe of 2d since last report. Maize is Id dearer, 3s 7d per 561b. There is noohange in values of pollard and potatoes. Svgar — Company's Ko. 1 piooes, steady at .£26 per ton. Adelaide, 4th September. Messrs. Ireland, Fraser and Co., reporting on the sugar market under date 24th August, give the stock of Bugar aa 6000 tons. The harvest operations are stated to have been hindered to a great extent by the bad weather whioh baa prevailed. There is nothing doing in the looal grain market. Wheat is quoted at 3g lid to 4s per bushel, and Adelaide town flour at £8 5s to £8 108 per ton. (Received September 5, noon.) London, 3rd September. Three per cent. Consols remain at par. The weekly returns of the Bank of England give the proportion of reserve to liabilities as 44 per cent., or 10 per cent, below last week, while the total reserve of notes and bullion has fallen from .£15,700,000 to ,£15,100,000. At to-day's wool sales, 12,000 bales were catalogued, making a total of 36,100 bales offered so far, of whioh 5600 have been withdrawn. The tone of the market is weak, especially so for soonred wools of all descriptions. The Bank of Australasia declared a dividend for the half year at the rate of 15 per oent. per annum, and oarries forward and plaoes to reserve the ram of .£34,000,
