npHE BIENCH AND THE BAB. A BARRISTER'S CERTIFICATE. Sydney, November 1, 1854. Gentlemen,— I certify that I have uaad St. Jacobs Oil to relieve severe spasmodic cramps in the calves of my legs, which had become chrosio, after trying numerous remedies in vain, also to relieve severe lumbago, and I have obtained not only relief almost instantaneously, but I have not experienced any return of the above during some twelve months. I have great pleasure in thuß testifying to the merits of St. Jacobs Oil, as I hope to influence others who may be prejudiced as I was against patent medicines to give it a trial, with a view to their deriving the great advantages whioh I have. Yours faithfully, C. A. Goblbtt, Bamater-at-law. An Australian Chief Justice has recently used St. Jacobs Oil for Rheumatism with the most satisfactory^ results, having been enabled to resume his judicial capacities after the lapse of a very short time, through its agenoy. A distinguished Master in Equity has had a similar experience, but neither of these gentlemen wish their names to transpire. A Statesman, too, who has just elevated his oolony in the eyes of Europe, Bays he has used it for the Gont, and finds it a first-claes preparation.
