A number of Bills from the other House were read a first time, and the Perpetual Trustees and Executors Private Bill was agreed to after some discussion. The Pensions BUI passed through Committee withont amendment, and the Imprest Supply Bill was passed through all its stages. The Auckland College and Grammar Sohool Aot Amendment Bill was read a second time, and the Council rose at 4.50.
