On Thursday morning he complained that he had not slept well and took possession of a vacated bed, giving instructions that he was not to be disturbed till he himself desired to get up. At noon Mr. Dorsett looked into tbe room and finding, to use his own words, *' that the old gentleman was fast asleep," did not try to wake him. At four o'clock in the afternoon, Mr. Dor3ett, having prepared some dinuer for him, determined to rouse the sleeper. As he entered the bedroom Mr. Rockel was lying in a natural position on the bed, with his arms folded, bnt when Mr. Dorset took him by the hand he found that he was dead.
