The yacht Xarifa arrived in hnrbor about three o'clock this afternoon from Lyttelton. The s.s. Tarauaki, from the North, arrived here at 10.80 last night. She left Nelson at 8.15 a.m., and Picton at 5.30 p.m. yesterday. The ship Avalanche was towed round to the slip by the Rangatira last evening. The brig Dcnvent changed hands yesterday. Messrs Cunningham and Wood, of Lyttelton, were the purchasers, and the figure £800. The barquo Union, from Newcastle, made tho anchorage early this morning. She left Newcastle on the 23rd ult. The Stormbird crossed the Wanganui bar nt 10.10 last night, and arrived at the wharf at 11 this forenoon. Reports the Luna in Island Bay. The p.s. Lyttelton, from Blenheim, arrived eariv tnis morning. The p.s. Manawatu crossed the Wanganui bar at 10.15 last night, and arrived alongside our wharf at 11.10 a.m. to-day. The telegraph steamer Tui arrived from Blenheim at 12.30 this afternoon. The ketch Falcon after undergoing cleaning, painting, &c, will be launched from Coffey's slip to-morrow, weather permitting:, and sail for Blenheim on Friday next.
