MEETING AT X.EESTON
The Leeston P.W.M.U. held its September meeting on Thursday afternoon, Mrs McMaster presiding and conducting the devotional service. An invitation was received from the Methodist Circuit Ladies' Guild to attend its meeting next month. Arrangements were made for a farewell social to be tendered to Rev. J. W. Hayward. At the conclusion of the meeting soldiers' parcels were packed and despatched, in connexion with which a bring and buy stall was also held.
Afternoon tea was served by Mesdames W. Nesbit,'.,'F. B. Clausen and C. H. Chapman.
