At Leeston

"IF I WERE KING"

Moviegoers who would rather see Ronald Colman cast as a swashbuckling romantic hero than in any other type of role will have their wish oh Saturday when "If I Were King,", a story of medieval France will be screened at Leeston Theatre. The story, an excellent one, revolves about the famous rogue-poet who became ruler of France for one unforgettable week and has one of the largest casts Hollywood has seen in many a season—numbering close to two thousand in all! Most of the extras perform in the scene representing the battle between Villon's army and the troops of the Duke of Burgundy. It is a romantic story based on the life of Francois Villon, the poet from the streets of Paris who became the ruler of all France for one glorious week, only to be exiled because of his love for a royal princess. Ronald Colman is the vagabond poet, Basil Rathbone, King Louis XI and Frances Dee the princess in one of the year's most important productions.
