IDEAL WEATHER CONDITIONS

For the swimming sports of the Southbridge District High School (primary and secondary departments) which were held yesterday, ideal weather conditions prevailed. A long- programme had been prepared and the events were got through expeditiously, the teachers of the school and others having efficient control of the events. Quite a number of parents and friends of the school were present and spent an interesting afternoon. Finlay, Lakeside, is paying a holiday visit to Masterton. . Mrs T. Hutchinson is making satisfactory progress after treatment in Christchurch Hospital.
