LEESTON CLUB'S OPENING. .

In fine weather the ■ official opening of the Leeston bowiing and te,nnis season took-plaee last Saturday" afternoon. - There was a good muster at the green, '. including a number of visiting bowlers. The president of the Bowling, Tennis and Croquet Club, Mr E. TVL Eobertson, declared the season open, and Mrs Robertson delivered the first bowl. There-, . after the afternoon was spent in a•. Doubles Competition between teams led by the president r.ud vice-president, the green being fully occupied.
