A SUCCESSFUL DAY.
■ Last Friday another very successful day eventuated for Leeston Paddy's Market, there being a good ' entry in all classes. There were'3s3 calf-skins and 260 sheep-skins disposed of.
Calf skins fetched from 1/11 to 4/-,
Sheep-skins—9d. for pelts, 1/6 to 2/for i wools; half to full wools, 4/-^,.to 8/6. '
Hides—Cows, up to' 13/-; good yearlings, 10/6; inferior, 5/- vto 17/-. Poultry—Poultry sold well up to
town values,
Produce -sold well. Parsnips, \- sack, 3/6; seed potatoes, 3/- to 5/- per sack; chaff, f.a.q., 2/6 sack. : Pigs—Weaners, 12/6 to 17/-. ■■■"'• \ ■ ' .
