NO SHORTS IN GERMANY
Tennis is the average girl’s outdoor sport in Germany, says Miss Hildegarde Ed ding, of that country, who recently arrived in Australia. Shorts are not worn on the courts, but girls wear short frocks and very few girls play golf. Camping and hiking were of almost general interest, she said, and large parties of girls or boys went on planned tours. They did not go in mixed parties.
