The winners had the advantage of the wind in the first spell and though they scored two tries they did not make the best use of their advantage. Roddie Tohill and Lcs Thompson each scored a try. In the second spell, though the wind had died down, the Lowbnru forwards gave a good display and the plav w r as pretty even. The Clyde Juniors journeyed to Matakanui on Saturday, when they had an enjoyable game. Matakanui won by nine points (3 tries) to 3 points (a try scored by M. Keliher). The following team has been chosen to represent Clyde on Saturday ; Fullback, Waldron; three-quarters, Higgs, Dawson and Weaver ; five-eighths, Crawford and Gye ; half, Spain ; forwards, W. Waddell, C. Naylor, W. Smith, H. Cameron, J. Weaver, S. Waddell, A. Holden, wing. Connor.
