At the monthly sitting of the Magistrate’s Court, Ophir, on Wednesday, the attention of Mr Dalgleish, S.M., was drawn to the fact that the prosecutions under the Rabbit Nuisance Act were taking precedence of cases adjourned from previous courts, thereby causing a good deal of incon veuteuce to the parties concerned* His Worship agreed to go on with the adjourned business after the first rabbit case had been disposed of. A suggestion was also thrown out that rabbit prosecutions should have a day set aside for them, as they gene« iaUy uk& a long tima to hear.
