A match is to be played at Cromwell on Saturday week (28 th lost.), between the Clyde and Cromwell Cricket Clubs. A practice match is to be played at Clyde to*morrow afternoon, between teams to be picked on the ground, It is to be hoped that all members will attend tbe practice, as nothing has been done in that respect by the local club for some weeks. The'following teams have been chosen to represent the Noith and South, in the match to be played at Alexandra to-day . NortU4-J. Crombie, Swan, Grant (Lowburn),'A. Tidoy, Jolly (2), G. Stumbles, McLaughlin (Cromwell), Crombie (2), and A. Horn (Bannockburn) ; South—W. S. Laidlaw, E. White, W. Burnside, W. Pitches, E. Smith, O. Bortou, T. Randall, J. Cairns, D. Milligan, H. Green, and May. Tim match Alexandra v. Lowburn, which' was played at Lowburn last Saturday, resulted in a win for Lowburu by 37 runs - , , ~ New South Wales defeated btoddart 8 team by 239 rum.
