THE Transvaal War.

. * FIGHTING NEAR THE VAAL. Three Australians Murdered. United Press Association. By Electric Jelegraph — Copyright. (Received July 26, 9.20 a.m.) London, July 25. A force of Boers going towards the Vaal were pursued and routed on Saturday and Sunday last. The Boers were seeking to effect a junction with another commando holding a position near where the Rhenoster flows into the Vaal, and for that purpose crossed the Klerksdorp railway line south of Seifontein. During the pursuit three Australians were treacherously trapped. Some Boers dressed in kharki uniforms beckoned to the colonials to come over to them, and when the latter unsuspectingly approached they were all three shot.
