CHICAGO EXHIBITION.
Dtjnedin, This day.
Mr Scddon this morning met a deputation from the Council. He explained the intentions and desires of the Government concerning the representation of New Zealand at the Chicago Exhibition. It Was resolved, " That in the opinion of this meeting it would be of great benefit to the colony if its natural produce especially should be represented at the Chicago World's Fair." The matter now stands remitted back to the Chamber of Commerce to consult the othe* bodies.
