TiiiCEE seems to bo a prevailing impression amongst School Committees that unless their s-chool is gazetted a school district they cannot ba.ve tho management of the affairs of their school. This is incorrect, as will be apparent from the following extract from the report of tho committee of the Education Board appointed to consider the question of school districts :—" Your committee recommend in the case of schools not inclnded in a school district that they shall receive the usual capitation allowance granted to schools under tho Board's regulations."
