ALLEGED ARSON.
Wanganui, This day.
Francis Trevelyan Kenny, indicted at the Supreme Court for maliciously setting fire to the Commercial Hotel, pleaded not guilty. He was defended by Mr Barniooat, and Mr Fitzherbert appeared for the Crown. Fifteen witnesses have to be examined, and the case is expected to last all day. Tho evidence is similar to that given in the lower Court.
