For Wellington and southern ports, per Te Anau, on Saturday, at 1 p.m. For Gisborne, Auckland, and Australian colonies, per Manapouri, on Saturday, at 4 p.m. ~ The s.s. Kahu will leave Lyttelton for the Chatham Islands on Thurday, Ist October. Mails will close at Napier on Tuesday, 29th'lnst., at 10 a.m. For Paringu, Bruce, Jackson's Bay, Martin's Bay, Milford Sound, on Monday, 28th inst, at 10 a.m. (per Hinemoa from Wellington, on Tuesday,
29th inst.) The b.s. Ruapehu will leave Lyttelton for London on Saturday, 3rd October. Specially addressed correspondence for the United Kingdom, Sea , marked "per Ruapehu," will cloee at Napier on Thursday, Ist October, at 10 a.m. Parcels post mail will close at 9.50 a.m. This mail will be due in London on 14th November. The letter rate of postage for the United Kingdom per direct
steamer is per half-ounce. For the sandwich Islands, America, West Indies, the United Kingdom, Continent of Etuope, &c, via San Francisco, on Wednesday, the 7th October, at 9 a.m. Money orders will close at 4 p.m., and registered letters at 5 p.m., on Tuesday, 6th October. This mail will be due in London on 11th November. The letter rate of postage for the United Kingdom ( via 'Frisco ia 2%d per half-ounce. " 5. J. JAGO, Chief Postmaster.
