TIMARU ITEMS.

TiMiEU, This day. The dwelling of W. O'Brien, briokinaker, was destroyed by fire at 3 a.m. Nothing was saved. Insurances—£2oo in tbe Standard and £175 in the Victoria. Between Saturday night and this morning the office of Mr Kimbley, solioitor, was entered by breaking the back window. Two cash boxes and two deed boxes were burst open, and three cheques for £9 9s and some cash and stamps were taken. The papers were tossed about, but none are missed. The safe was not meddled with.
