London, September 20. A cargo of wheat per barquo Hudson, from Lyttelton (May 1G), has been sold at 39s Gd. The English wheat market is firmer, the Continental has an upward tendency, and the American shows a general advance. Tallow is unchanged. The total quantity of wool catalogued up to date is 157,000 bales, of which 133,000 have been sold. Prices are steady at quoted decline. Foreign buyers have taken 43 per cent, of the quantity sold.
