A committee meeting of the Hawke's Biy Guv Club was held at tho Criterion Hotel this afternoon, the Presidi nt, Mr. J. P. Hamlin, occupying the chair. Mr. H-mlin kially placed at the disposd of the •lub a handsome silver trophy, to be shot f_r as the committee may decide. This should be an inducement for new members to join, for the prize is one that will be worth winning. The programme is under consideration, aDd will be issued in the course of a few days.
