CLAIM AGAINST THE RAILWAY COMMISSIONERS.
Timaeu, This day. Evidence was taken to-day for transmission to Dunedin in the suit of Begg and Co. v. the Railway Commissioners, claim £40 damages, for injury to four pianos alleged to have been wetted on the train in the transit from Dunedin to Timaru. The Commissioners' reply is that the damage was due to sweating aboard the ship.
