Crombie, Ijeputy Commissioner of tho Property T ,_x Department, to fill the vacant Commissio aership caused by the death of Mr J. 8j .errey, and J. McGowan. Chief Clerk in t he Departmet, to the position of Deputy f jommissioner.
Tho q< lestion of the general election was discasse d, but tho polling day will not be fixed vi nil tho return of Captain Russell, who in expected to-morrow. It is probable that t* o day will be between the 12th aud 20th J I'ovomber.
Th: i Hon. Mr Richardson leaves for the aovttt . this afternoon, Mr Mitchelson for the non n on Friday, and Mr Hialop for the Hou'ch on Friday.
