Dear Sib, —Being intimate with one of the Principal Supervisors of Kxoise here, I 'wjnt him a few dozen of Messrs Speiokt & Co.'s Dunedin Beer, with the object of irettiug an opinion of tho Excise Chemist on it, and 1 am glad to say he has pronounced it one of the Finest Beers he ever analysed, it having the high specific gravity of 10' SO deg., tho greatest amount of spirit, and tho best quality of acid he over oame across.
