Don't Go to Law.
[to tkh kditok. I
Km, —Can you give me and other of the ratr-payers of the Meunee IJoad Board district, any further information regarding the threatened action nt law mentioned in your short report of the late meeting - of the I3'i:ir<l. Beforo the rutes arc expended in 11 law suit I would ask, has the chairman obtained a written opinion an to the chance of HUceesH if the threatened action is taken ? While so much is required to make and repair the roads in the district, an-1 feeling , the n«ed of repairs to roade I have to travel over, I strongly urge that such steps aa were threatened at the last small meeting of the Board be postponed until at luiibt there is some slight probability of success. Hostility to Home of those interested in the Park Co'mpaiiy is not, to ray mind, sufficient rviison for risking a failure and consequently h>.-H of the money rtquircd for other purposes.—l am, &o. }
