Tho amount of Customs revenue collected in the four principal centres last month was—Dunedin £35,554, Wellington £27,130, Auckland £22,181, Lyttelton £20,035. The beer duty last month was £3803, as against £3377 for June, and £2907 for the corresponding month of 1888; Dunedin contributed £944, Christchurch £700, Auckland £772, and Wellington £157,
