Football.
The heavy rain that has fallen has made the Recreation Ground in such a muddy condition that it would be impossible to play any football matches there to-morrow. The junior cup fixture betwoen the and Harriers will be played at Farndon Park, and both teams are requosted to be at the railway station in time for the two o'clock train. .
We have been requested to state that there will bo no fnotball matches played on tho Recreation Ground to-morrow. The match Probables v. Improbables will take place at Farndon. Players will leave town by the '2 p.m. train.
Tho following committee has been appointed, togother with delegates, to the Union, to work up matters in connection with the proposed southern tour of the Hawke's Bay representatives: —Messrs F. Kennedy, W. Anderson, Jbb. Fleming, It. Percy, J. Hindmarsh, .G. Pram, ■F; Robjohns, R. Duncan, H. Swan, J. Neagle, A. .'. Cotterill, J. F. Jardine, J. Beatson, T. Lowry, A. Outhbert, R. Smith, T. Sidey, F. and O. Gordon. Tho above, are. requested to attend a mooting this evening at 7.30, at tho Criterion Hotel.
