ARRIVALS. J«ly. 11—Kiwi, s.s., from Wellington via lastlepoint.—P»ssenger—One steerage.

The Kiwi, Captaiu Campbell, arrived

from Wellington at midnight, and was brought insiclo to disohargo her cargo. She leaves for Wellington at five o'clock this afternoon.

A etoiiiHPr was observed early this mornng past-ing the bay, probably some cargo itearacr bound from Auckland to south.

Tho Union Company's Southern Cross did not leave Wellington till midnight, and ■will therefore not arrive here till to-morrow morning. She leaves for Gisborne. Tologa, Tuparoa, Hick's Pay, and Auckland at 5 p.m. Mr. Willcocks, local agent for the N.Z. Shipping Company, has been advised that the ship Opinva will leave Lyttelton for here about the 20th instant. She comes to load frozen meat, from Messrs Nelnon Bros. , works. She will also take a quantity of tallow, etc.

The Weka was able to take a full load out of the Antofagasta yesterday af jernoon, and it is hoped the barque will" be sufficiently lightered by Saturday to come inside. Tho Ellis line steamer Dupleix left Sydney yesterday for Auckland. Messrs Crahby and Prebble havonot been informed whether she will call at Napier. Tho s.s. Rotomahana left Auckland this afternoon, and should be in the bay early on Saturday morning. The Australia is due from tho north enrly to-morrow moniing, and steams for Wellington at noon.

Tho Tarawera arrived at Melbourne from the Bluff yesterday. The Muriposa, Dupleix, and Hauroto left Sydney for Auckland yesterday. The Stella (from Lyttelton) and tho Wild ■Wave (from Napier) arrived at Sydnoy yosterday. The s.s. Fairy arrived at Gisborno at noon yesterday. The s.B. Linders arrived at tho Bluff from Newcastle at 12.30 p.m. yesterday, Tbo s.s. Wairoa, which has for some days been a prisoner in tho Wairoa river, BUCBceded in leaving thereat 2 p.m. to-day, and will arrivo here about C o'clock this evening.
