WARBRICK'S TEAM V. NEW SOUTH WALES.
The New Zealand football team played the New South Wales Rugby Union at Sydney on Saturday. There was beautiful weather, and ten thousand spectators were present. Mudigun, Elliott, Ellison, aud Keogh secured tries for the natives, which undur the old rules of scoring, counted twelvo points, and decided tho match in
tho New Zealanders' favor, Now South Wales scoring a potted goal (four points), and a goal from a try (five points), making nine points in all." Under tho now niles New South Wales would have won by six points to four. For New South Wales Colquhouu converted a try obtained by Gee into a goal, and llanley potted tho goal from tho field. Tho game was well contested throughout, although the New '/,ctilautiei'ts had slightly tho best of it.
