I havo vory littlo to report from this quiet City of the Plaiua at present. The Native Land Court is expected to be opened here daily. Business people are anxiously looking forward to its opening. Mr H. P. Cohen had a large and uaoful lot of goods to operate on in his now sale room yesterday afternoon. At the Police Court yesterday, bofore Messrs Well wood and McLcod, J.P.s James Thompson was charged with the larceny of four blankets and n pair of trousers, valued at two poundH, the property of Joseph McCoy. Prisoner pleaded guilty, and was sentenced to threo months'.imprisonment in Napier gaol with hard labor.
