CHAMPION SHEEP DIP, CERTAIN DESTRUCTION OF ALL PARASITES AND EGGS, AND Uff. PKOVEMJiNT IK OKOWXH O¥ THJK \\ T OOL. ~ ■■"■■.':', '«#. ■> VHAW.KES ,BATlllsf IIRBT PRIZE CANTERBURY AGRICULTURAL AND PASTORAL SOCIETY'S TRIALS, APRIL TO NOVEMBER, 1887, « THE MOST STRINGENT COMPETITION EVER HELD , Mahotactubed Ojtct Bt , r MURTON AND WHITE, SOLE PROPRIETORS, PORT AHURIRI, NAPIER, HAWKE'S BAY, NEW ZEALAND. Kereru, 21st February, 1888. Mkssbs Eakins and Co. Dear Sirs, —We have yours of the 10th enquiring about the result of out dipping from the shears in your dip. We dipped over two thousand of our beet ewes with their lambs and about three thousand five hundred hoggets almost directly off the shears without the loss of a sheep from the dipping or any damage whatever to either sheep or wool. They were dipped in November. Yesterday we had about fifteen hundred of them in the yards, and though we looked carefully could not find a tick on the merino, and only one on a crossbred lamb. —Yours truly, ROYSE & ANDERSON. Pakowhai, September 20, 18S8. MESSRS EaKINS AMD Co. . . , Gentlemen,- I have great pleesuro in testifying again this season to the ef&caoy of your Improved Sheep Dip. This is the third season that I have used your dip, and find it equally satisfactory. The wool is in splendid condition, no discoloration, and free from ticks and lice and wishing you a prosperous season, I remain, yourn faithfully, FRANK COLLINGE. To Mahanga, 24th September, 1888. Hksshs Eaxins akd Co., Napier. Dear Sirs, —I have used your " Improved Sheep Dip" for the last two seasons, and it has given me the utmost satisfaction. I have tested it with other Dips, and have no hesitation in saying that it is bost and most reliable Dip I have ever used. I intend to continue using it. Youra faithfully, WILLIAM DOUGLAS. Takapau, 24th September, 1888. Messus Eakins and Co., Napier. Dear Sirs, —It gives mo pleasure to bear testimony to the excellency of your* " Improved Sheep Dip." TNSTRUCTIONS will bo found on every drum, and if carried out a failure is X impossible. G. Heelop being a practical Sheepfarmor, and 3 years in the manufacturing of the above Dip, finds that by dippiug a lamb in every brew before leaving the works is the only test in turning out an efficacious and uniform Dip. From J. R. Lanauzo, Esq. (Auctioneer and Stock Agent for Murray, Roberts and Co."), Hawke's Bay. LstNovembur. 1888. In reply to yours of the 29th ult., r<syour Sheep Dip, I have used it in the month of ' March on kmg-woolled and crossbred sheep, and always found it most effectual in destroying lice and ticks, and the sheep were quite lreo from parasites when shorn the following November. The Dip is in no way detrimental to the wool, not leaving the slightest stain. On one occasion 1 dipped 300 long-woolled 2-tooth wethers in your Dip, and put with them 350 orossbred 2-tooth ewes, which had not been dipped, and were badly affected with lice and tioka, and after being in the same paddock for seven weeks the dipped sheep were carefully examined and found to be perfectly free from all parasites. From Philip Dolbel, Esq., Springfield, Hawke's Bay, sth November, 1888. In reply to yonre of 27th October, «your Sheep Dip, it is a face that the 12 sheep of ours, dipped in your N.Z. Sheep Dip, as an experiment, have been running in our flock, and when examined were found porfeotly clean, and the flock which they wero running with had been dipped in another Dip, and found on examination to be badly affuctod with lico. I may state, in justice to your enquiry, that there could be no mietako as to the 12 sheep above mentioned, as they »vero carefully branded. From Ewen Cameron, Esq., Toanga, Poverty Bay, 10th 1888. Having used tho New Zealand Snoop Dip for 3 years in succession, can safely say it is fully equal, if not superior, to any Dip I have used. From Geo. Bee, Esq., Mohaka, Hawke's Bay, let September, 1886. I dipped 3000 hoggets with your Dip last year (March), mixing the hath accord* ing to instructions on the drums, and found it quite strong enough to kill tioke. There were no lice on the sheep, but had there been I am quite sure it would have killed them. The Dip is very easy to mix, and does not stain or disoolor the wool. I. dipped the sheep right under and did not lose one through poisoning. lam quite satisfied with tho Dip and intend to use it again this coming esason.
