Passengers—Misses Poyeer, Sheppard, and Ashworth ; Messrs Promt, Swan, Naphtali, Murphy, McLellan, James, Burgess, McLachlan, Chapman, Gould, Lucas, Johnston, Siddles, Broughton, Cowell, Mulligan, Nick, and Chambers ; Sergeant Cullen, and 10 natives.
DEPARTURES.
Febriiary. s—Orowaiti, s.e., for Westport. R. Pufiett, agent.
The a.s. Maitai left Auckland for this port via constal stations and Gisborne at 6 p.m. yesterday. She has 42 tons and 430 railway sleepers for here, which she shculd land on the breastwork nest Friday morning.
Tho s.s. To Anau leaves Auckland for Melbourne via southern ports at noon tomorrow. Sho calls in here on Saturday morning, and leaves again same day at 2 p.m. The collier steamer Orowaiti finished her discharge yesterday afternoon, and sailed for Weeport direct at .5 o'clock. The s.s. Mararoa, leaves Dunediu to-day for Napier via Lyttelton and 'Wellington, and should reach here on Saturday ingTho brigantine Enterprise leaves Dunedin for this port to-day. The 8.8. Wairoa returned from Wairoa at midnight last night, bringing a number of passenjxers. She leaves again, for Wairoa to-night.
