PORT OF NAPIER,
ARRIVALS. April. 26—Australia, s.s., from Wellington, 27—Omapere, s.s., from Tiniaru.
The Union Cos. s.s. Australia, Captain Crawshaw, arrived from Wellington at 3 p.m. yesterday, and was brought alongside tho breastwork, where sho discharged this morning. Sho -will resume her voyage northwards at 6.30 p-m. The same company's s.s. Omapere arrived from Tiniaru and Oainaru at 1 a.m. to-day, and "will be brought alongside to discharge her cargo. She will steam for Gisbome, Tauranga, and Auckland at 6.30 p.m. The s.s. Kiwi was expected this morning, but did not turn up, and will probably arrive during the afternoon or evening , . She will steam for Wellington to-morrow afternoon. Both tho intercolonial boats will bo up to time on Saturday. Last launches leave for the Waihora at 11 a.m., and for the Wairarapa at 5 p.m. As the souther has not yet shown any signs of abatement, all the local steamers are confined to port, with the exception of the Result, which is bar bound at Wairoa.
