SUPPOSED REMAINS OF THE J. T. BERRY. [FEB FEESB ASSOCIATION. —OOFYEKHIT. ] (Received February 18, 2 p.m.) BEIBBANE, This day. The barcpio Belle, which arrived here yesterday from Timaru, passed some hundreds of kerosone tins floating about on the 2nd February. The Belle also sighted a vessel's hull burned to within a few feet of tho w-ater's edge. The bowsprit was still standing. The captain of the Belle, in his report to the Collector of Customs, expressed the opinion that_ tho derelict remains wero the hull of the ship J. T. Berry, burned at sea on the 9th January last while on the voyage from Philadelphia to Japan, and that the floating wroek is exceedingly dangerous to navigation.
