September. 18— Go-Ahead, s.s., from Wellington via

Castle Point. IS—Frank Gtiy, tlireo-masted schooner, from Greyinouth.

The steamer Go-Ahead, Captain Doilo, arrived hi the roadstead from AA r ellington via Castle Point at 2 o'clock this morning, and was berthed inside by the Pilot at the breastwork at 6.45 a.m. The Go-Ahead brought a largo cargo, including transhipment goods out of the Catalina from Glasgow, which were discharged at the breastwork during , the forenoon. She was to have got away again for the South at 2 p.m., biit it had not been decided up to the time our report left the Spit whether she was to go direct to Dunedm or via Wellington. Tho Union Company's steamer Taiaroa, Capfc. Parsons, is telegraphed as having left Auckland at G o'clock last night. As she will probably not arrive in Gisborne before early to-morrow morning, it will make it to-morrow evening before iShc could arrive here. Tho last launch is at present announced to leave the wha?:f at 5 p.m., but it will depend on what time she gets away from Gi.sborno. Tho Taiaroa is tho bearer of the inward English mails by the Doric and Australia.

Tho steamer Maori, Capfc. Anderson, which left at 11 o'clock yesterday morning, is reported as having arrived at Wairoa at 4 p.m. the same day. The Union steamer Southern Cross, Capt, Allman, loft AVcllington at 5 o'clock last night for Napier, Gislx-rne, and Auckland, and should arrive here during the night. She is to discharge her cargo, some 33 tons, inside to-morrow, and at '■'> p.m. h announced to steam for the North.

The launch Bella, Capt. Green, is loading up for Mohaka, and will be leaving on the first favorable chance.

There is again a heavy sea reported to be running on the AVairoa bar, and the p.s. Manaia's departure has still to be postponed. The three-masted schooner Frank Guy arrived at the anchorage at 1 p.m. to-day from the Grey river, with a cargo of coul for tho railway. AVc notice she has lost her fore top-gallant mast.
