Invercargill, This day

A vory strong letter was published on Saturday night in reference to the temptations put in tho way of boys and young men by hotclkeepers, particularly in connection with billiard playing. The same evening and yesterday the police paid surprise visits to a number of hotels, the result being that two proprietors will be charged with keeping billiard rooms open after hours. No cases of Sunday traffic were discovered.
