Mr Lyndon sells fruit and forest trees, shrubs, aud flowers, by auction at his mart to-morrow at 11 a.m. Messrs Banner and Liddle soil fruit, hams ancl bacon, toa, sugar, salmon, and salt by auction at their rooms at 11 a.m. tomorrow. Mr R. Pettit will give practical lessons in breaking and training horses at the Horse Bazaar at 11 a.m. to-morrow. ,- , . Messrs. Hoadley, Lyon and Co. hold their clearing sale of sheep, cattle, horses, farming implements, kc, without reserve, on tho Rcdclyffo estate, Taradale, at 11.30 a.m. to-morrow. _ Overdue Accounts owing to Mr J. A. Napier, Taradale, not paid by to-morrow, will be sued for without further notice. Captain Blvthc requests those desirous of joining tho Rifle Volunteers to attend at the orderly room to-morroAV evening. Tho second quarter of Mr Roarden's night school commences on Wednesday evening.^ Massrs Banner and Liddle sell at their rooms on Thursday the furniture and effocts of Mr Wcstlake, also a quantity of stationery, fancy goods, kc An organ recital ancl sacred concert will bo given in St. Paul's Church on Thursday evening. Professor C. T. Lichtwark, the celebrated colonial horseman, delivers a free lecture on the scientific management of the horse at Albion Hotel on Thursday evening. j Jlainer's American War Panorama will bo exhibited in the Theatre Royal on Saturday evening. Dr. Wilkins, oculist and aurist will be in Napier for throe days next week for consultation.
There are branches of the New Zealand Clothing Factory at Napier, Hastings, and Waipawa.. Mr C. Selig, watchmaker and jeweller, has commenced business opposite McEwan's drapery warehouse at Hastings. Two or three gentlemen can be accommodated witlr**board and residence on the hills by applying to L.F., Post Office. ' A.8., office of this paper, has a furnished parlor and bedroom to let. The time for receiving tenders for forming about 70 chains of road running towards Omahu has been extended from to-morrow to Saturday.
Several "sections of first, second, and third-class land in the Ruataniwha survey district will be open for sale on application at the Crown Lauds Office on August 30, and every day thereafter until withdrawn from sale
