FIRE IN A PRODUCE STORE.

A fire broke out in Messrs Hesketh .and Aitkcn's produce store, Durham-street, at 10 o'clock last night, but it was got under by the Fire Brigade. The stock on the top storey was flax, hay, grass-seed, kc The insurance on the building is £-100 iv the South British, and on the stock £150 in the South British. Messrs T. and S. Morrin had £2000 worth of casks and cases of ironmongery stored in tho building, the insurance being £1500 in the New Zealand offico, These goods were partly damaged bywatep.'
