The Union Steamship Company's s.s. Southern Cross, Captain J. Allman, took her departure for Gisborne, Wiripo, and Auckland, at 4.15 p.m. yesterday, and is telegraphed as having arrived at the former place at 6 o'clock this morning. Tho steamer Kiwi, Capt. James Campbell, is telegraphed as having left AVelb'ngton at 5 o'clock last night for this port via the coast, andasthelatesoutherly winds will have probably raised a good swell on the coast she will come straight up, arriving here to-morrow morning. She is announced to leave for AYelling-toii at 6 o'clock tomorroAV night. The steamer Alaori, Captain Anderson, is iioav announced to leave for Wairoa at 10 o'clock to-night. The launch Boojum's departure for Wairoa has been postponed until the beginning of next week. The Union Steamship Company's s.s. Arawata was to have left Auckland for Southern ports and Melbourne at noon to-day, and will arrive in our roadstead by daylight on Saturday morning. The time for the outward passengers to leave the wharf is as usual 11.30 a.m. Capt. Baxter of the p.s. Alanaia, received faA-orable adA'ices as to the state of the bar at Wairoa this morning, and his steamer will take her departure at 9 o'clock tomorrow morning. The Union Company's s.s. Rotomahana will be the steamer from the South this week, and is due here on Saturday forenoon, filing northwards at 4 o'clock the same day. The schooner Agnes Donald, Capt. J. Bradley, will sail for Greymouth in ballast to-morrow.
