Fitzpatrick. 30 —Waikato, ship, for London. Passenger —Mr Charles J. Clint. ——♦ " The Union Steamship Company's s.s. Te Anau, Captain Carey, arrived here at daylight this morning from Sydney via Northern ports, and "was tendered shortly after arrival by the ketch Three Brothers for cargo, some 25 tons. The following is the report of the steamer's passage down the coast, kindly furnished by the purser:—Left Auckland at noon on the 28th, and arrived at'Gisborne at 1 p.m. on the 29th ; left Gisborne at 6 p.m. same day, and arrived at Napier as above. Experienced light variable winds and fine weather throughout the passage. Her outward passengers were taken off by the laxich at 11.45 a.m., the steamer taking her departure for the South at about 1 o'clock. The steamer Kiwi, Capt. James Campbell, left Wellington at 7 o'clopk on Thursday night; landed cargo and passengers at Castle Point next morning, and left again at noon ; called at Whangaehu in the evening, but was unable to land owing to the heavy swell running ; left there at about 8 o'clock last night, and arrived here at 6 o'clock this rooming. She was berthed inside 'at the cattle wharf at 7 o'clock, and discharged her cargo, some 90 tons, during the morning. She is to sail for Wellington via the coast at 5 o'clock to-night. The s.s. Maori left for Mohaka at 12 o'clock last night, taking a cargo of timber. The Union Steamship Company's s.s. Wairarapa will be leaving Wellington at 6 o'clock to-night, with 90 tons of cargo for here, and should arrive shortly after 10 o'clock to-morrow. She will be tendered on arrival for cargo by the ketches Three Brothers and Admiral, and for inward mails and passengers by the Boojum, those outwards being taken off at 4 o'clock in the afternoon. The brigantine Anthons was berted inside at the breastwork last evening. The p.s. Manaia is to steam for Wttiroa to-night at 12 o'clock, and will be. returning on Monday evening. The New Zealand Shipping Company's ship Waikato, Capt. Sutherland, cleared at the Custom House yesterday afternoon, and, as there was not a favorable breeze laßt night, she was towed outside the roadstead at 1 o'clock to-day by the Union Company's b.s.
