No person allowed to enter a horse unless he is a subscriber of at least one guinea to the Club. All disputes, claims, or objections to be decided by a majority of the Stewards, or whom they may appoint, whose decision shall be final. All protests to be accompanied with a deposit of two guineas, to be forfeited if the protest Is considered fi ivolous. Three horses to start for each race or only half the money will b3 given. " Hack ' shall mean a horse that has never started in a weight for age or handicap race. Nominations for the Maiden Plate (with ages of horses) Handicap Hurdle Race, W.C.R.C. Handicap, and the Railway Handicap, accompanied with the necessary amount in cash, must be left with the Secretary at Kaikora not later than 8 p.m. on the 9th December. Weights will appear on the 15th December. Acceptances for the Handicap Huidie Race, W.C. R,C. Handicap, and the Railway Handicap, accompanied with the necessary amount in cash, and colors of riders, must be left with the Secretary, not later than 8 p m, on the 23rd December. Five per cent, deducted from the gross amount of all stakes. All races run under the H.B. Jockey Club Rules and weights.
