The Staff Match was fired yesterday, Sergt.-Major Bell, of Wellington, winning with 36; Coleman. Dunedin, 34, second, and Pilcher, Wellington, 32, third.
The Otago Ladies Shield Match was also conclude:!, and resulted in a victory for the Dunedin City Guards with a fine score of 427, the Dunedin Artillery being second, with 396, and the Olutha Rifles third with 394.
This match, which was restricted to Otago volunteers, was the last on tbe programme, and the meeting is now closed.
Last night the representatives takinz part in the shooting competitions were entertained at a dance given by the citizens. The Garrison Hall was gaily decorated with flags, but the ball was not a success, either as regards the attendance or the arrangements made tor the reception of visitors.
